AFT-Lone Star College has long advocated for the due process rights of employees. By due process, we mean that, if employees have a grievance, or if they have had disciplinary action taken against them, they should have the right to appeal their case to an objective third party that has not already ruled against them. This is why, in 2015, we endorsed a change in Lone Star College policy, opening up a pathway for employees to appeal to the Board of Trustees. Read more in the issue…
