Tuesday's OrganizED: All In for November Statewide Volunteer Kickoff in Dallas was a success, as dozens of attendees got to hear from special guests and renewed their commitment to shape their own future by showing up this November to vote for pro-public education candidates.
When educators organize together, we can win big for Texas public schools and universities. Public school educators are asking for three simple things: schools that are fully fundED, teachers/professors and students who are protectED, and a profession that is respectED.
Special guests from Tuesday's event included:
Rep. Gina Hinojosa, candidate for Texas Governor
Rep. Vikki Goodwin, candidate for Texas Lieutenant Governor
Montserrat Garibay, candidate for Texas House District 49
Allison Mitchell, candidate for Texas House District 108
Zach Herbert, candidate for Texas House District 112
Oziel Ochoa Jr., candidate for Texas House District 37
Kristian Carranza, candidate for Texas House District 118
Zack Dunn, candidate for Texas House District 121
Josh Wallenstein, candidate for Texas House District 133
Tyler Smith, candidate for Texas House District 138
Zeph Capo, Texas AFT President
Victoria Pfau, Fair Shot Texas PAC Director
