Update on Social Security Fairness and HR 4540

The Public Servants Protection and Fairness Act (HR 4540) would finally address an unfair offset to Social Security benefits–the Windfall Elimination Provision (WEP)–that can significantly cut monthly payments for public employees receiving pensions. Tell Congress to stop the unfair benefit cuts: Send your online letter now!

 

HR 4550 now has 135 co-sponsors, but 24 Texas representatives in Congress still have not signed on in support as co-sponsors.
