We demand a change in school board policy to permit educators in CCISD to receive 5-year Term Contracts followed by Continuing Contracts after their probationary period has concluded. This will empower CCISD to retain and attract the best educators to make it a leader in public education.
The current policy makes it harder to retain high-quality and experienced educators. CCISD educators deserve better job security. Our community demands an opportunity to build stronger relationships with local educators. We can do all of this by changing current policy.
